Hello ! My name is Amélie. I am French and I live in Lyon. I am a teacher of French as a Foreign Language and I have a Master's degree in Language Didactics and French as a Foreign Language. I like to discover new cultures and travel. I have many interests such as literature (especially French, English and Japanese), music, cooking, sports.Me as a Teacher
I am dynamic, always smiling and patient with my students! For me, it is important that my students feel comfortable in my classes. I only want my students to feel confident and not to be afraid to express themselves in French. I want to help them in their knowledge and skills in the language. Always in a good mood and without judgment! There are no wrong answers, just experience in learning.
I have taught students at A2, B1 and B2 levels, but I know how to adapt to each level. And I know how to adapt to your needs and objectives which we can define during your first trial lesson, or by message!My lessons & teaching style
For the conversation classes, I define with you a subject or a domain, with your preferences and objectives. We can to exchange and to share in French. For this courses, I enourage interactions for oral production and comprehension. At the end of the lesson, I can give you a documents if necessary (a vocabulary sheet, grammar points)
For the French lessons, you think by deduction. Together, we study a language point, by observation and reflection. Then, by application and trials. I will use documents (PDF, visual) to teach you French, according to your objectives and needs. If necessary, I can give you course reviews and homework to practice.My teaching material

Les séances avec Amélie sont toujours agréables et très pratiques. On apprends sans nous rendre compte ! On apprends autant français familier que courant, et celui-là fais l'apprentissage plus intéressant. Si on a besoin de pratiquer quelque chose en particulier, elle nous aide, et sinon elle nous propos des conversations pour continuer a améliorer. Sans dute, une professeur très professionelle !

Amélie is an amazing teacher. I love that she is helping us to stick to school curriculum and also have her wonderful learning materials 😊
Even though Amélie knows the French contents is quite hard for my kids, Amélie is very patient and will continue to explain to my kids, and do some exercises to help them understand. Amélie will also take some time for revision until the work finish 😃👍
Actually my kids had few teachers before, but they normally without heart for teaching. So we are so lucky that Amélie is our French tutor now. We know her put lots of effort on teaching 🥰
