Véronique

Veronique is a pleasure to speak with! I dread speaking French sometimes but never with her, the time always passes very quickly. She shares helpful suggestions in a very relaxed way which doesn't give me pressure. I highly recommend Veronique for having a great conversation... while practicing French!

Veronique is the perfect teacher for me because in addition to improving my ability to understand and speak French, she has greatly improved my knowledge of French politics and culture. She is very well educated and eager to keep learning herself She sends fascinating articles we can discuss together. I always look forward to our lessons.

I dare you to find a teacher that has a better lessons per student ratio than Véronique. It will be hard, and there are many good reasons. First, Véronique speaks really beautiful French, and she doesn't just correct your grammar. She helps you express yourself more eloquently. That's not something we can take for granted in a teacher these days. Secondly, she is a consummate conversationalist. She takes a genuine interest in what you have to say, and that's an essential ingredient for a meaningful discussion. Of course this is her work, but she doesn't just phone it in to fill the hour. She is there 100%, with all her curiosity and attentiveness, and that makes a noticeable difference. Last but not least, she is a fun person. She doesn't take herself too seriously, her outlook on life is with a sense of humor, and this combined with her compassion and openness makes the interaction more than a language lesson. How lucky I feel to have found her on iTalki! Merci, Véronique!!!!

Véronique is a marvelous teacher. I have now had several conversation lessons with her. Each one has been interesting and educational, covering a variety of topics. She allows me time to try and formulate my sentences, which are definitely not perfect. The corrections are placed in the notes section and I can review them later. This is very helpful. I recommend Véronique 100%!
