Yoshito Hiroi

Great as always! If anyone wants to work on pitch accent/pronunciation then Yoshito-sensei is the teacher to see. He has far more knowledge about pronunciation than any other teacher I know.

I was very happy that I chose to book a lesson with Yoshito sensei. His conversational class was conducted in a friendly and easily comprehensible way, making it easy to utilize the Japanese I had while learning new words through his explanations. I will definitely be booking again, and recommend him to anyone looking for a good conversational class.

Yoshitoさん is a really kind and down-to-earth teacher! What I enjoy most is that I can take my time to find the words I'm looking for in my head without feeling stressed. Great for those who feel very nervous about speaking in their target language. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend taking a lesson with Yoshito-san. He is very organized in preparing for the structured conversation sessions and he is willing to tailor the lesson according to your needs/desires. He provides helpful feedback without breaking the flow of the conversation.

Yoshito-sensei has a very calm nature and will not interrupt you even if it takes you longer to formulate a sentence. He will only answer in Japanese which helps building my listening skills tremendously. He is very good at keeping the conversation flowing so even if you don't know what to talk about he will either ask you more about the topic you're talking about or he will switch the topic. You will never run out of stuff to talk about with him, I highly recommend Yoshito-sensei!

Thanks for our first lesson! Yoshito-san's comprehensible input class was interesting and challenging, and will be a great way to supplement my textbook learning and self-study practices.
