If you use Firefox (if you don't, you can download it just for this) there is a Youtube caption downloader that creates a SRT file.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-caption-downloader/

Or you can use this site and just give the youtube link:

Apart from of archive.org (which is apparently provides search in TV-programs. wow. ), I got episodes 1 and 2 here:
http://study4ever.com/tag/script/

And the full collection of subtitles (not scripts!) here:
http://cdn-origin.peg.tv/cc/T01719/destinos_01.xml
http://cdn-origin.peg.tv/cc/T01719/destinos_02.xml
....

The later are in XML, more precisely 'timed text authoring format' (ttaf, modern version of which is called 'timed text markup language', TTML) with timing etc.

If you won't find a way to convert it into more readable format automatically, I can try to find a way myself later or just write a script...

apart from priting, there are some software that can convert subtitles in other formats.
They say, 'subtitle edit' works with TT..

The technique I applied to find these is pretty straightforward:) Just 'google a quote'. That's how I usually find subtitles. Strangely, it gave me archive+1st-site for one line, archive+2nd for another - and archive only with the third citation i googled:/ Maybe if i tried it with yet another qoute it's give me a fourth site?

Strangely-2, if a much needed text was digitized it should leak inte Internet, and once leaked it should exist in a multitude of copies:/ Why is  only one-and-a-half there? I miss something, they shopuld have a source i haven't located:)

My suggestions don't work with Destinos & I think that's the subs that Comandante wants.  I've looked on the net for Destinos subtitles & I can't find them.  I even found a torrent that I could download the entire set of videos & I got the first one but it did not include subtitles.  I know the DVDs / tapes came with subtitles but this project was done in 1992 so who knows what format the subtitles would be back then.

I'm watching this set of videos as well & at one point I considered downloading them all so I could watch on my own but I too would want the subtitles.  So instead I just watch them on the Annenberg site.  I've been doing the vocabulary & grammar lessons that are also on the site & relate to the videos so that's a bonus.

@ K P: Thank you so much about the first two episodes :) . Unfortunately, I don't know how to convert TTML into readable way. I wonder how you do it ?

K P :Dave was right. I was trying to find a way to print subtitles in Desteno series. I like this series yet I can just see the subtitle. I wanted to read it in paper to translate it before watching the episods. Now, Dave said there is no means to print it. I am frusterated :(
