These are the two pieces that caught my eye today:

I like the way the animals move in the the forest - it seems crowded and there is a lot of action, but the animals just go about their business as if this wasn't a problem :)

I like the shade of yellow and the orangy-red stain peeking from behind.
I remember this about Caravaggio; he was able to paint directly onto a blank canvas.
He did not even need a cartoon to begin with.
