Me as a Teacher
I graduated Pedagogical University in Siberia and got a diploma of a teacher of German and PhD in pedagogy. My native language is Russian, but I have been teaching German at university for many years and I have the experience of teaching from zero to advanced level.
On italki I have been teaching for more than 6 year. I am lucky to have the amazing students which are passionate about German and motivated to learn. And I learn from my students as well! Every person has his or her own track, pace and capacity and I would like to support everyone on this journey.My lessons & teaching style
Learning is a creative process and it is always a two-way street. As a teacher, I am trying to replicate the life situations to prepare you for the real ones. Fluent speaking is a core language competence, which is based on the grammar, significant vocabulary and knowing the culture. I will be glad to improve your pronunciation, enhance the vocabulary and develop the speaking skills based on the special exercises. I will propose you describe the pictures, share your ideas and discuss the articles, books and videos. On advanced level we will focus on meaning of words, complex grammar and will speak a lot!

Елена прекрасный преподаватель немецкого языка для русскоговорящих. Она прекрасно понимает, где студент сделает следующую ошибку, и помогает ее избежать. Она готовит грамматическую почву заранее, чтобы как можно раньше подготовить студента к следующему материалу и чтобы студент как можно быстрее усвоил материал. Елена очень опытный преподаватель, и я очень рад что мне удалось ее найти на огромном пространстве айтоки. Многие сложности немецкого языка получаются не такими уж и сложными с ней. Elena is an excellent German language teacher. She provides exercised skewed to a student level and often anticipates what difficulties a student can have adjusts the homework. I really enjoy the study time with Elena and I feel that my learning substantially sped up since I started learning with Elena.
