Sometimes, I sell them (the portrite i draw for other people),because the Paint(material) is very expensive.

Great entry, Shona, do keep up the good work! One thing in particular - 母亲、父亲are very formal terms when referring to your parents, we usually just say 爸爸、妈妈，or 父母for our parents.
Also, good luck with painting! Maybe you can post a painting and write about it next time. :)
