I miss it. Years ago, I loved painting and I still love it but with the difference that I am not painting any more since I was eighteen. However, I regret having quitted this amazing activity, which I could spend several hours a day with no rest. In my teens, I started to take painting lessons. I really enjoyed them, therefore, I always wanted to learn more. Over the four years I learnt varied techniques as long as the skills needed to use them even though I still had lots of progress to make in order to become a professional. Time later, I decided to paint at home to improve faster. It may sounds good, but it had a negative impact on my grades at school, because, at that time, I used to go to sleep late in the night in order to spend more time painting. I also cut down the amount of time in me study. I carried on with this habit until I failed some exams. By then, I had already facing oer problems that made me feel low, so that I quitted due to lack enthusiasm towards most of my favourite activities. Fortunately, I chose to look at myself and life in a positive way, although, I sometimes feel that regret. in any case, I love it as a free time activity so I can start over as soon as I want so.

Don't give up your painting. You'll enjoy it more as time goes by.
