5.) 독학해왔지만

• 전부터 한국어를 독학해 왔지만 잘 못해요. (I’m studying Korean by myself, but I still can’t speak well.)

-There should not be a space between 못 and 해 :) 잘 못해요, and it should be 해왔지만, not 해 왔지만. Except these, this sentence is perfect.

• 오전 5시부터 지금까지 수학을 독학해 왔지만 아직 어려워요. (From 5am to now I’ve been studying math, but it is still difficult.)

(It is okay.. but I think it sounds more natural if you just say 오전 5시부터 지금까지 수학을 공부했지만 아직은 어려워요. People will assume that you stuided alone if you say like this. If you want to say you studied with somebody, you can just say, 오전 5시부터 지금까지 수진이랑(or 선생님과 = with teacher) 수학을 공부했지만 아직은 어려워요.)

• 한국어 독학해 왔지만 선생을 필요해. (I’ve been doing self-study for Korean, but I still need a teacher.)

- 한국어를 독학해왔지만 선생님이 필요해.

• 시험을 위해서 독학해 왔지만 많은 공부를 해야 해요. (I’ve been doing self-study for my exam, but there is still many things I need to study.)

-시험을 위해서 독학해왔지만 아직도 (공부할 양이 많아요.) or (많이 공부를 해야 해요.)

• 경제학을 독학해 왔지만 아직 숙제 있어요. (Even though I’ve been self-studying Economics, I still have homework.)

- Does it mean that you have been studying Economics for many hours but still have homework? then it can be 경제학을 오랫동안 공부했는데도 아직도 숙제가 남아 있어요.

아까부터 경제학을 공부했는데 아직도 숙제가 있어요.

6.) 존경해
• 내가 한국문화를 존경해요. (I respect Korean culture.)
• 한국에 한번 왔지만 한국문화를 너무 존경해요. (I’ve only been to Korea once, but I really admire it.)
• A: 왜 한국문화를 좋아해? B: 한국문화 존경하니까! (A: Why do you like Korean culture? B: Because I admire it.)

(These three sound weird.. Let me think of another way to express them..)

한국문화가 훌륭하다고 생각해요

• 좋은 결혼 바라면 부인을 존경하고 사랑해야 돼요. (if you want a good marriage, you must respect and love your wife.)

- This will be better in this way; 좋은(or 행복한) 결혼생활을 원한다면, 부인을 존중하고 사랑해야 돼요. 

• 나를 존경하지 않아요? (You don’t respect me?) - This can be rewritten this way ; 저를 무시하는 건가요? (Are you ignoring me?)

Well, 존경하다 does mean "respect" in English, but in Korean, 존경하다 is more close to "admire?" like..

usually written with people who are really famous and did amazing work before.. People who you try to be like, who have many qualities that you want to have.. Like.. 저는 아인슈타인을 존경해요. 저는 헬렌 켈러를 존경해요. 저는 저희 아버지를 존경합니다. 저는 스티브 잡스를 존경해요. :) (It is okay if your father is kind of a role-model to you)

7.) –러 가/오다
• 한국어 공부하러 한국에 갈 거에요. (I’m going to Korea to study Korean.) (Good! Come come :) !)

• 선생님을 만나러 학교에 왔어요. (I came to school because I had to meet my teacher.)  (Good!)

• 공부 해야 하러 도서관에 가요. (I have to study, so I came to the library.)

-공부를 하러 도서관에 가요 (Present tense) 공부를 하러 도서관에 갔어요. (Past)

• 라면을 필요 하러 수퍼마겟에 갔어요. (I needed ramen, so I went to the supermarket.)

-라면이 필요해서 슈퍼마켓에 갔어요. (We usually just use "슈퍼" than "슈퍼마켓"

• 부모님을 보고싶으러 집에 갔어요. (I missed my parents so that is why I went home.)

-부모님이 보고싶어서 집에 갔어요.

8.) –(으)ㄴ/는 데
• 미안해요. 최근에 바쁜데 시간이 없었어요. (I’m sorry. Recently I have been busy so I don’t have time.)

- 미안해요. 최근에 바빠서 시간이 없었어요.

• 여자 친구는 음식을 먹는 것을 좋아하는데 동이 없어요. (My girlfriend likes to eat, so I don’t have any money.)

- 여자친구가 먹는 것을 좋아해서 돈이 없어요.

• 내사무실 옆에 박물관이 괜찮은데 한번 가 보세요. (The museum next to my office is nice, so you should take a look some time.)

- 내 사무실 옆에 박물관이 있는데 좋아요. 한번 가 보세요.

• 제 동생은 중국 음식을 좋아하는데 난 한국 음식을 가장 좋아해요. (My younger sibling likes Chinese food, but I like Korean food the most.)

- 제 동생은 중국 음식을 좋아하는데 저는 한국 음식을 가장 좋아해요. (Since you said "제" before, you'd better say "저는")

• 많은 스트레스는 있었는데 모리가 아팠어요. (I had a lot of stress, so my head was hurting.)

-스트레스를 많이 받아서 머리가 아팠어요.
