tip for good service OR tip good service? 2 double beds versus a king size bed This morning, I browsed some English websites and found below sentences writtten by netizens. I have questions regarding them: 1. In a forum, the net users are talking about whether or not tipping for delivery food. One user said "I tip good service, and don't tip bad service. I never feel obligated to tip." I think there should be a "for " after "tip", that is "tip for good service and don't tip for bad service", becasue the correct usage of "tip" is to tip someone, not to tip service. Am I correct? 2. A traveller's log writes "Once we got to the room it was great, the only issue was 2 double beds versus a king size bed. They will change your room the next day but we could not be bothered so we stayed put. This hotel is at full capacity all the time so this (room allocation) may be an issue so be prepared, but for a resort that was full it sure did not feel crowded at all. " From the context, I learnt the writer travelled with his wife, but I don't know what room the write stayed. Is the room where they stayed "a room with 2 double beds" or "a room with a king size bed". DId he make it clear in this paragraph. Because I am confused with " 2 double beds versus a king size bed"? All the above paragraphs are wished to be corrected. Thanks in advance. Good luck.

"Once we got to the room it was great, the only issue was 2 double beds versus a king size bed." Does it mean the room was with 2 double beds as opposing to a king size bed. I don't quite understand the usage of "versus", which I only know in below usage:

Team A versus Team B
