Typhoons and Depression Typhoons never really scare me anymore as much as what I felt when Haiyan was out of our doorstep. Instead of fear, it instills anxiety and a deep-sinking feeling. If you could look out of the window from where I'm sitting, people are still trying to cope up but bombarded with such calamity again. I can't imagine how we could all arise together and reach normality. It gets worse when you walk downtown with things ripped and destroyed. I actually just got back home from the capital city of the Philippines, Manila. It's like time stopped here while the rest of the world continued their daily tasks and with their own lives. I wish for a ray of hope for everyone here but that's nothing but just a wish, isn't it?
