My confusing situation Almost at every new year I visit a new country. This year I had an adventure to Munich. One day I had a bus trip to a royal castle Neuschwanstein. On the way there, our guide suggested to stop, because we were passing a very wonderful church Wieskirche. In opinion of the most authoritative specialists it is the best architectural monument of the style rococo in our days. Certainly, we stopped with pleasure. The guide said to us, that we could take candles, which were inside of the church. Before I came back to the bus I took a candle. Some people, who were sitting there, looked me very strange. I didn’t understand what I did wrong. After 1-2 min my hand began to feel oily. Oh, my gosh, I took a not that one what I needed! Our driver was going to move in 5 min, that’s why I had a little time. I went fast to return my candle. I hoped to do it secretly, but not. Those people looked at me again and smiled. I was embarrassed and confused. After that I brought a correct candle and run off the church . I always try to do everything right, specially in other country. Now I remember it with a laughter.

My Misunderstanding

At almost every new year, I visit a new country. This year, my adventures took me to Munich. On one of the days, I took a bus to the royal castle, Neuschwanstein. On the way there, our guide suggested to stop, as we were passing the Wieskirche; a magnificent church. According to the leading authorities on the subject, it is the best surviving example today of architecture in the Rococo style. Certainly, we stopped; with pleasure. The guide said to us that we could take the candles, which were inside the church.

Before I came back to the bus, I took a candle. Some of the people who were sitting there were looking very strangely at me; I didn’t understand what I had done. After 1 or 2 minutes, my hand began to feel oily. Oh my God, I realised- I hadn't taken the kind of candle that he was thinking of! Luckily, I still had a little time- our driver was moving in 5 minutes. I went quickly to return my candle. I had hoped to do it secretly, but that wasn't to be. Those people looked at me again and smiled. I was confused and embarrassed. After that, I took a candle of the correct kind and ran out the church. I always try to do everything right; especially when I'm abroad. Now I remember it with a laugh.

My confusing situation

Almost at every new year, I visit a new country. This year I had an adventure to in/took a trip to  Munich. One day I had a bus trip to a the royal castle of Neuschwanstein. On the way there, our guide suggested to stop, because we were passing a very wonderful church, 'Wieskirche'. In the opinion of the most authoritative specialists (renowned experts) it is the best architectural monument of the Rococo style rococo in our days. Certainly, we stopped with pleasure. The guide said to (told) us, that we could take candles, which were inside of the church.
Before I came back to the bus I took a candle. Some people, who were sitting there (where?), looked at me very strangely (gave me a funny look). I didn’t understand what I did (had done) wrong. After 1-2 min my hand began to feel oily (greasy). Oh, my gosh, I took a not that one what had not taken the one that I needed! Our driver was going to move (leave) in 5 mins, that’s why I had a little time. I went fast quickly to return my candle. I hoped to do it secretly, but I did/could not. Those people looked at me again and smiled. I was embarrassed and confused. After that I broughttook/picked a the correct (right) candle and run off ran out of the church . I always try to do everything right, specially in another country/other countries. Now I remember it with a laughter/I look back on it with a smile.
