Physical Exercise vs. Academic Study As far as I’m concerned we should seek equilibrium between both ideas. On one hand, physical exercise provides relaxation which is advantageous for students. Let’s imagine a student who has to prepare for a final test. He has been studying for many hours just has stopped to eat and sleep. We don’t need to be psychologist to notice that his performance will be gradually decreasing due to the stressful and anxiety. In my view students have better concentration if they exercise regularly. In addition, students need a break from the tedious and exhausting lectures, and exercise can provide it. Even though if we workout just for 20 minutes. Another advantage of daily exercise is long-term benefits, such as a good health what enables to reduce the risk of many diseases. On the other hand, just focusing on academic issues could expand our general knowledge as well as mind, ideas, vocabulary, etc. I think it’s worthwhile to chase the knowledge because; many more choices wide open to you. At the same time any job you desire is within easy reach. Finally, knowledge and the study will fill your pockets. Focusing just in academic issues certainly do provides more and better job opportunities. However, I have met people quite dedicate to study, but they lack of important qualities, such as a good self-esteem, abilities to communicate with people and good team leadership skills. I think these qualities are not learned by studying, but socializing. Physical exercise enables students to socialize with other people. For those reason I think we should seek equilibrium between studying an exercise.
