How Birthdays Are Celebrated In Your Country Here in the Mexico, everyone celebrates it differently. Some people spend time with their families, other with their friends. Still others go out for dinners or stay home. I think it just depends on the person. One the other hand the tradition is to buy a cake and put candles it accordingly to the number of birthday. The person has to blow out the candles and makes a wish after we sing a song named “Las mañanitas”. Finally, loved ones usually give presents to the birthday person. Without a doubt it is a special date to spend time with your relatives and best friends.

Here China. Nowadays more and more people in my country celebrate birthdays the way the same as your traditional way. It really surprises me because I don't actually know the origins before. In China, the tradition is to eat "changshou"(长寿)noodles. In the bowl there lies only one string of noodle, and of course, it's very long.It means the person will have a long life span.:-)
