Here is the conversation in the casual form. Please remember that there are several ways to speak in this form depending on the person, family, gender, age, etc and the relationship between the people. Here is one of them. 

 

日本語会話練習:カラちゃんとお姉ちゃん

カラ:お姉ちゃんはがくせいなの? or 学校に行ってるの?
姉:そうよ、カラちゃん。PCUのがくせいよ。or うん、PCUに行ってるよ。

*I think sisters already know if the one of them is a students or not and which year the other one is in. 

カラ:ところで、お姉ちゃんのほんはどこ? 
姉: 本はあそこよ。
カラ:あ、ホントだ。ところでお姉ちゃんはなんねんせい? 
姉:二年生よ。
カラ:私も学校に行ってるよ! 
姉:そうだよね。何年生?
カラ:三年生だよ!
姉:そうか、カラちゃん、がんばって勉強しようね。 
カラ:あの、ちょっとまって。 
姉:うん。
カラ:なんかおなかすいちゃったよ。 

姉:ええ?いまは何じよ!?
カラ:ええと…。 
姉:おどろいた!ごぜん二じじゃない!?
カラ:ええ!? ホント!? でものどかわいちゃった。  

姉:そういえば…私も。
カラ:そうなの?
姉:カラちゃん、キッチンへ何かあるかどうか見に行こうか?
カラ:うん!

*We generally use the casual fom between close people but this time I'll make my suggestions in the formal form like you wrote.

カラちゃん:お姉さんがくせいですか。 
お姉さん:そうですよカラちゃんいもうと。私はPCUのがくせいです。*We never use いもうと to call nor talk to our younger sister, we usually call her name. 
カラちゃん:ああ。でも、お姉さんのほんはどこですか。 
お姉さん:あの、本はあそこです
カラちゃん:そうですか。お姉さんなんねんせいですか。 
お姉さん:二年生です
カラちゃん:私も学生です! 
お姉さん:そうですねああ、いいですね。何年生ですか。
カラちゃん:三年生ですよ!
お姉さん:すごいです!カラちゃん、がんばりましょう!
カラちゃん:はい!あの、ちょっとまてください。 
お姉さん:どうぞ。
カラちゃん:おなかがすきました。 
お姉さん:ちょっと。いまは何じですか。
カラちゃん:あの… 
お姉さん:ぴっくりしました!ごぜん二時ですよ!
カラちゃん:まさか!しかし、今はのどがかわきました。

Good job! I think using the same form of speak between the same people is better. (In this case, the casual form, but there isn't only one way to speak in this form and it's very difficult for the learners to distinguish them. Please get accustomed to the casual form little by little.
