"Tettona" means a woman who has big boobs. It is not a very offensive word as a real insult, since it depends on the manner in which you're saying it. But it is not a good word, as well....

There is no woman who would like to be called like this. I suppose.

If you want to say that to a girl in a more polite way you can say <em>"Sei molto formosa"</em>.

It is used sometimes between boys to confidentially say that woman has really big breast! in my opinion not to be used directly with her, she can be offended because it is rude! yes it is not offense just rude so if you use this word you are classifying yourself as rude man. you can say "ha un seno importante / generoso / prosperoso" if you are really in strict good relation with the woman and you know she will take something little rude like a joke so can be possible to say "tettona"
