How can I live in TX more fun. ( Could you possibly proofread my note? ) My favorite hobbies were watching an independent movie in Cinecube, an independent cinema and going to an art gallery during the weekdays. One of the good things was working as a nurse that I can get day off during the week. It could be the worst thing as nurses can not have enough time with their family and friends on weekends. Anyhow, It was the best way to spend my day off weekdays independently instead of complaining about not often having holidays on weekends. Even though the smaller cinemas which usually show low-cost, artistic and independent films are facing financial difficulties are going out of business in South Korea like USA, It is easier for Seoul citiziens to access various independent movies and culture events than New Yorkers. in terms of affordable prices. After moving in TX, that kind of hobbies are quite luxurious thing unless I live in NY. How to live fun and enjoyable in USA is a topic that has captured ed me. Here are my lists what characteristics is needed to live fun in TX. ( I only know in College station, TX, I can not say I know USA ) The person is a big fan of sport. The person is a devout Christian. The person is a workaholic. The person is an academic and a bookworm. The person likes crafting or DIY. The person is superrich so.. he can travel everywhere. Reading books or joining a painting club would be the most stable method for me. For starters, reading a book would be a realistic option for me. As soon as taking part in a book club, I have realized that reading English novels is more difficult than news, medical books because of a wide range of adjectives and adverbs that I do not know exact those meanings. However, I want to keep stick to reading different kinds of English books. At one of friends’ request to recommend a book written by a Korean author, I visited in Bans&nobles at my town today. It is good to see that Korean author’s novels not an outdated book citied Korean war are placed a shelf. I expected that I would be easy to sympathize with the book as the book portrayed a dedicated Korean mother. However, I was hardly able to be moved by the book. Even though I grasped the content, I could not taste and feel English contents and be immersed in emotion unlike Korean books. Even if I found an independent movie in my town, It would be the same situation. My English ability just remains communication of content not deeply and elaborately expressing my feelings and ideas. (here are my other comments, Italki wouldn't let me save them all above)

A note about Italki: It is better to write shorter notebook entries, more people will read and correct them, because it takes time! You can split a story over 2 notebooks...

All states have 2-letter abbreviations, but they are rarely used when writing for audiences outside your local area. So I changed to Texas. However, "College Station, TX" is an address, so the TX is fine here.

Almost all the corrections are for plural/singlular, and prepositions: of to and the etc. It is very common for people with native Asian languages to omit these because they are not used to them. (Except Japanese maybe.)

"My favorite hobbies were watching" - were is past tense. I didn't change it, but later on, it sounds like you are still in Texas. If you are still there, then you would use 'are' not 'were'.

The opposite of good it bad, the opposite of best is worst.

'moving to Texas' use to, it is a direction

'those.. kinds.. hobbies.. things' all plural

'here is my list of characteristics that are needed' List is singular so use 'is'. Characteristics are plural, so 'are needed'. Yes English is hard!

'I' is correctly capitalized, but 'it' should not be capitalized

You write very well, and you write advanced sentances, good for you! It is fun to read because you write about your personal observations and feelings. Please don't be discouraged! Thank you I enjoyed it. And you nailed it with your description of Texans and midwesterners!

It could also be the worst a bad thing as nurses can not have enough time with their family and friends on weekends. Anyhow, it was the best way to spend my day off on weekdays independently instead of complaining about not often having holidays on weekends. [good attitude!] Even though the smaller cinemas which usually show low-cost, artistic and independent films are facing financial difficulties and are going out of business in South Korea like in the USA, it is easier for Seoul citizens to access various independent movies and culture events than New Yorkers, at least in terms of affordable prices. [excellent long sentance!] After moving in to Texas, that those kinds of hobbies are quite luxurious things unless I live in NY.
