[Solamente necesita usar "to" cuando estas dando algo a alguien. Por ejemplo:

You see me. Me ves.

You give it to me. Lo me das. (Lo siento; mi espanol no es muy bien.)

I give it to you. Lo te doy.

He goes to Spain. El va a Espana.

Usualmente, cuando usa Ud. "a" en espanol, necesita usar "to" en ingles. Tambien, cuando usa el objectivo indirecto (me, te, le, nos, os, les), necesita usar "to" antes del substantivo.]

Exercises with to and for

When I'll have a job, I'll do something for you.
Do you remember? When I called to you, I told to you.
When I heard the news, I went to the work office. (or I went to work.)
I knew that you couldn't study, because that I studied for you <em>(you can't study for someone else)</em>.
This week I did excercise everyday, today I'll run for you <em>(you don't run for someone else...did you mean with you?)</em>
Today, I will cook for you, you only see to me. (<em>not sure what the last part is trying to say)</em>
Where is my cell phone? I ask to you.

Gracias por la ayuda.
Saludos
