A Halloween conversation Me: What is something special today? (I'm referring to Halloween) My student: Nothing special. It's just a usual day. Very boring. Me: Well, actually, there is something special today. Do you know, Hallo...(I was about to say Halloween but my student yelled.) My student: Oh yes! Today is my mother's birthday. Me: Oh great! Happy birthday to her! I think let's just proceed to our class tonight. (I said this with a dull face)
