"beaucoup de monde", "du monde" and "n'y avait pas trop de monde" Are these three sentences correct for following reasons: "Il y avait beaucoup de monde partout." ("de" because you use "de" after "beaucoup") "Il y avait du monde partout." ("du" because in French you need an article and the indefinite article makes sense here even though we wouldn't use any article in English) and "Il n'y avait pas trop de monde dans l'éntrée." ("de" in the second sentence because it's following the negative construction "n' .... pas.)

It's perfect! NB: éntrée > entrée And I would rather use devant in place of dans (l'entrée)
