"I need to take a shower" in Spanish. Please, please, tell me how to say this. It is so simple, but every book I read explains the grammer of this sentence (badly) but none give the actual example. From what I gather the point is that I shower myself, but I can't see if it's duchar, duchame, duchase, me ducha, or what.

"I need to take a shower" in Spanish is "necesito ducharme". When you are speaking and you decide to say "I'm going to take a shower", in Spanish is "voy a ducharme". Hope I've helped you

I agree with María; I need to take a shower means "necesito ducharme" or " necesito darme una ducha"...in Spain are correct: "voy a ducharme" or " voy a darme una ducha".
