What's the difference between 마음, 가슴 and 심장? I've read that 마음 is like emotional feelings in the heart (broken heart) and 가슴 is chest but can be used to talk about the heart and 심장 is the organ. I rarely hear anyone say 심장 but I hear 마음 and 가슴 a lot in songs. I've noticed that when talking about a heart beating they say 가슴이, and otherwise they use 마음. Is what I've read about the differences correct? If not, what are the differences and when do I use each one.

Yeah, your understanding is correct. When talking about a heart beating they say 가슴 and 심장 but not 마음 for example, 가슴이 두근거려 심장이 두근거려 가슴이 뛴다 심장이 뛴다
