Talking about when you do something in Spanish. I am trying to work out how to talk about 'when you do something' in Spanish. For example: 'in the morning' at lunchtime, tomorrow. I looked up 'in the morning' and saw in a few texts "de la mañana". However when I wrote l "Él va a estudiar de la mañana" (He will study in the morning", everyone changed the end, and all the corrections were different. Please can you explain the basics of how to add times to sentences. For example, how do you say "I will go to work in the morning.", "In the afternoon, I studied Spanish.", and "On mondays I go to Taekwondo class." Please can you explain in English if possible, Gracias.

"de la mañana" is usted when you are talking about time. For example: Son las 8 de la mañana -> It's 8 in the morning In your sentense you have to use "por la mañana". For example with your sentense it will be: Yo iré a trabajar por la mañana. --> I will go to work in the morning. "por la tarde" (afternoon, evening), "por la noche" (night) The last thing "On mondays" in Spanish you have to use for example: Los lunes voy a clase de Taekwondo" --> On mondays i go to Taekwondo class Also is the same for other days --> Los martes, Los miércoles, etc. I hope it clear your doubts :)

Hi. Here is something I hope it can help: Tomorrow = Mañana (day) Morning = Mañana (specific time, like "early") I will work tomorrow = Trabajaré mañana I will work tomorrow morning = Trabajaré mañana en la mañana (not very common) / Trabajaré mañana temprano (better) I work in the mornings= Trabajo por las mañanas I work in the afternoons= Trabajo por las tardes I go to Taekwondo class in the mornings: Voy a clases de taekwondo por las mañanas. I go to Taekwondo class in the afternoons: Voy a clases de taekwondo por las tardes I go to Taekwondo class in the afternoon (like, today I go)= Voy a clase de taekwondo en la tarde.
