autant que + verb or action autant de + noun (something)

autant de... (+ a noun) It means "that much of" so it represent a quantity. autant que... is for a comparison with someone or something. You can use both "de" and "que" with "autant". Ex: Il a autant de patience que toi. (he has as much patience as you)
