goran bregovic's song "kalashnikov" lyrics....explanation, please could anybody contextualize a bit the meaning of the song lyrics? I guess the language used is gipsy (roma) but probably there are words in serbian/croatian/bosnian. I recently saw a doc in TV where bregovic explained the song to be like a "military" call. Is the song naming clans, families or something alike? Who would be more "moved" by this song in the south slavic area? (moved in the sense of feelings/"fervor", etc). Would like to know what effects produces this song on the "native" receptors. thanks!

I would really like to help you, if you could just find me lyrics on bosnian/croatian/sebian, I would explain it to you.

Hiya, the song is trully in gypsy/romano/cigansky language. Have you seen Underground ? Better to watch it in original language to understand more (with english subtitles), If you struggle with translation, ask fans on Goran`s fan page on Facebo myspa, or try his official website, I am sure someone will help.
