It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that I live with the people who learn Japanese language. While helping them to acquire Japanese skills, I'm also able to learn about their country, culture and even my own country Japan. Which is fun and helps me improve myself. I like to learn new things and I like to help people who study really hard. I'm interested in learning languages, baking, reading books and playing piano.
Since August 2015, I've been learning a new language: German, so I really know how tough, but also enjoyable learning a new language can be.
Me as a Teacher
How to acquire Japanese is different for each person. Since 2013 I've been teaching Japanese online to people all over the world from beginner to advanced. Therefore I can help you to acquire Japanese better and I can also help students of all skill levels by using my experience. Especially as absolute beginners you might be afraid to speak, but don't worry. I'm a very patient and positive person. So my lessons are fun and you can relax. I really enjoy working with students who want to learn and make progress.My lessons & teaching style
My class is very flexible and we can do what you need. For example, this is what I often do in my class: conversational practice, reading novels/articles/news, learning grammar, preparation for exams and more. In order to not forget everything that you’ve learned with me, you should review it everyday. If you make mistakes during the lessons, I can correct it with text and speaking and if you need homework, I will give you some. In the next lesson we will check it together.

What a lovely introductory lesson with Sato. I found her to be very welcoming, polite and encouraging. I am a complete beginner and have begun my journey into the Japanese writing system. This morning we made a start and I can now write Konichiwa in Hiragana. I found the process to be very relaxing and calm. Origato Sato! Until next time.

Great lesson talking about upcoming travel, how to communicate allergies when you don’t speak the language, and the types of jeans that are most comfortable to wear. Sato’s lesson are very informative with lots of great feedback on grammar, accent, and vocabulary!

Another really great lesson with Sato talking about flying and how other passengers behave, my upcoming trip to Japan/Korea, and spending time with family. I always learn so much new grammar and vocabulary with Sato, she never hesitates to help me improve and ensure I’m constantly progressing!

Great lesson with Sato talking about daylight savings time in the US vs other parts of the world, how much daylight differs between countries, as well as horror movies and how some people love them while others cannot watch them at all. Always a really informative lesson with really good conversation and incredibly helpful feedback.
