Are there any differences between “ bloopers “ and “ outtakes “ ? Can I use the two words interchangeably? Are there any other words that mean the same ? Such as “ post-credit scenes “ ,” bonus scenes “ ? Do they mean the same ? Thanks for answering my question, as always!

Yes, you can use Bloopers and Out-takes interchangeably. However, Bloopers has the implication of humor, or being especially funny, whereas Out-takes are not necessarily funny - they are just the versions of the scene that were ultimately not used in the final product. But many times people will use either one, and mean the same thing.

Hi Apple, These two terms have a similar meaning, because of the purpose of the making. Both are the extra scenes after post production. Bloopers is more like some funny parts of a video that were not put into the final production. I've seen some YouTubers done bloopers videos to show their fans/subscribers about the failed takes and they made it as a bonus scene/video and sometimes they put it as an exclusive content. Examples of bloopers: https://youtu.be/h8A1_no5UdQ https://youtu.be/Ccm-sKSrSig Meanwhile outtakes is more like a general leftover scenes and it's not necessarily funny. Outtakes is often used for example in music video, for instance to show behind the scenes process of a music video and showing the extra scenes that were not showing in music video, with the purpose to show the creative process behind the production. But it depend on the artists. Some artists also put some funny outtakes from their music video production and it can be "on purpose" to entertain their fans.
