Hey, nice to have you here! It's great to see you. Here, you can find out if my teaching style suits your learning needs during a trial lesson. This is a great way for you to see what future lessons might look like! It will be a casual or directed conversation about the topics of your choice. We can discuss your future goals and the things that really matter to you while learning German. I am an adaptive teacher, and anything within my range of possibilities, I will incorporate into our lessons. Feel free to share anything else that's important to you, so I can prepare according to your needs and wishes. This class is for everyone who'd like to practice their speaking skills with a fun and engaging conversation. (A1-C2)  In this class we'll talk about everything that you are interested in or care about. 

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬:

I write all the important words in a Google Docs document, which you can use to review everything later and prepare for the next class. If wished I give written homework every class. 

- Everyday conversations / Small talk such as deep discussions ✓

- Together we can practice certain real life situations where speaking German still may scare you or make you feel insecure. ✓

- We can read a text together and I check your pronunciation on the way. ✓
- Exam preparations (Telc/Goethe) and more ✓ 

- We can have structured lesson with one topic, vocab, pictures, quotes etc

Feel free to suggest me a topic beforehand so I can prepare it with the help of articles, videos etc. that we both read/listen to in advance and that we can talk about later in class. 

Alternatively we can just talk about anything in a spontaneous and free way. During the class I will be patient with you and in a sensitive manner listening to each word and sentence you're formulating to me. I will do my very best to correct you simultaneously while you talk (written and spoken) and enhancing the conversation with useful word alternatives/idioms and casual language (whenever it fits and what my mind associates in the moment)  and to bring your vocabulary/context-based understanding to the next level.

It is important for me to make you feel comfortable speaking freely and to bring in some variety and diversity in your vocabulary, so that you can concretely express what is on your mind in a natural way.
