大龙：小咪！你也来学生餐厅吃饭啊？我们一起坐吧？

吴小咪：好啊。对了，还有一个星期就是春节了，这是你们第一次在中国过年，你们有什么打算？

铃美：我还没想好呢。

大龙：我也没什么打算。本来想去旅游，不过我听说有“春运”，人太多了。

吴小咪：没错！对中国人来说，春节是最重要的节日。无论我们在哪，都会赶回家的。既然你们两个没有安排，就去我家吧，怎么样？

铃美：会不会太麻烦你们了？

吴小咪：一点也不麻烦！我的家人都喜欢热闹，人越多，我们越开心。

大龙：我听说中国人过年要吃饺子。

吴小咪：看情况。在北方，大部分人爱吃面食，过年的时候，一家人一起一边包饺子一边聊天。可是在南方，很多人过年的时候不吃饺子。

大龙：原来是这样，我以为所有人都要吃饺子。

吴小咪：每个地方都有自己的习俗，所以年夜饭不太一样。我外婆是广东人，她们过年的时候要吃“盆菜”，就是一盆海鲜。我有个浙江的同学说，她们过年会吃年糕。我的四川朋友，过年之前会准备熏肉和腊肠，好吃得不得了！对了，大部分人都会吃鱼。

铃美：我知道！“鱼”和“余”的读音一样，吃鱼是希望“年年有余”。

吴小咪：是的。

大龙：那你们家过年吃什么？

吴小咪：我们家会做鱼，还有一些海鲜和很多炒菜，也会包饺子。

铃美：你们喝什么？

吴小咪：喝的东西有很多。一般来说，喝白酒比较多，也有的喝红酒，还有的喝果酒或者米酒。不喝酒的人，就喝饮料或者茶。

大龙：我发现不管是哪个国家，节日都和美食有关系。

铃美：这就是节日的重要意义吧！
