Hello guys excuse me, im trying to learn the verb (to fit) is my new verb today so i appreciate if you can tell me if i use it correctly or acceptable in my written sentences. - The ball perfectly fits inside the basketball ring - My brother is too fat and he might not fit through the door - Santa claus may not fit through the fireplace - my car doesn't fit in my brother's garage - (To Fit) as a satisfaction: my monthly payment completely fits my needs cause i can buy all what i want please?

Not bad! - The ball perfectly fits inside the basketball ring For this sentence you would probably want to put “perfectly” after “fits”, so “The ball fits perfectly inside the basketball hoop.” (Oh yeah, we also say basketball hoop rather than ring.) - (To Fit) as a satisfaction: my monthly payment completely fits my needs cause i can buy all what i want For this, you would probably want to put “completely” after “needs” and say “because” rather than “cause.” “Cause” is more of a spoken, not written, shortening of “because.” Here you need the full word. There are a couple other corrections that you’ll notice below. So “My monthly payment fits my needs completely because I can buy everything that I want.” But not bad at all, well done!

Hi there, Great work on what you are doing! Herewith some feedback which will hopefully assist. - The ball fits perfectly inside the basketball hoop. (Place perfectly after the word fits) - My brother is too fat and he might not fit through the door. (Correct. You could even omit the word "he" as it relates to "My brother" already.) - Santa Clause may not fit through the fireplace. (Well done, this is correct. Please include an "e" in Clause.) - My car doesn't fit in my brother's garage. (Great !) - (To Fit) as a satisfaction: My monthly income completely fits my needs because I can buy all that I want. (Great attempt. I assume when you say "payment" that you are referring to the income you receive. Remove "what" and replace with "that" and ensure you have "because" as this is written English. "Cause" is more slang and casual "chat" when using a phone / messenger / whatsap etc. You could also have the sentence as follows: My monthly income completely fits my requirements as I can buy all that I want. )

Hi Juan, I agree with Trey regarding the order in the first sentence. Put the verb first (fits) followed by the adverb that describes it (perfectly). Here are a few examples: “The bell rang loudly” or “she ran quickly to her car.” You can put the adverb first: “She quickly ran to her car.” However, this is less natural when spoken and depending on the adverb/verb combination it can sound very awkward. If you want to shorten a word when writing it, you need to replace the missing letters with an apostrophe (‘) to show that letters were removed and keep the meaning clear. Cause is a noun or a verb and is a different than ‘cause (slang term short for “because” which is a conjunction). You might say ‘em for “them” (like “get ‘em!”), etc.
