I think there are a few qualities that are essential to be good teacher. First he/she has to equip to be an adequate professional. Secondly, a good teacher should be warmhearted, patient and loving. A good teacher not only teaches students how to do exercises and acquire knowledge, but also helps shape their early ideas. Thirdly, good communication is extremely essential. Usually good teachers passively talk with their students parents, which can effectively contribute to students' healthy growth and progress. A true story happened in China, an ordinary female teacher, Zhang Guimei, lived in a small village of Yunnan Province. Her dream was to help girls go into the campus and build a girl school that was only for girls from poor families who couldn't afford the tuition fees. Her action was highly supported by the local government. there are now over 100 students that get into first-class universities every year with the help of her. She patiently looks after them in their life and strictly teaches them how to study although she has had a lot of disasters the girls appreciated how she's helped pay for them and call her Mom Zhang. Anyway, this is one example of a good teacher. I believe, for me, becoming a good teacher is hard, but action speaks louder than words.
