If you are trying to find a nice way to describe a girl who is not petite you could use the word “curvy” (she is a curvy girl or she is curvy). This is a modern, polite, American way of saying she is a bigger girl (not thin). I would not use curvy to describe a man.

Hello, I think " curvy " is something too often used for larger girl's. Many women are actually curvy- someone like Sofia Vergara comes to mind as curvy and she is not large. Just my thoughts of course but I would use "full figured" or just "larger build" depending on the situation or the audience. You would have to judge that. Good luck!

Compared to Taiwanese women, this is everyone else! Haha 😀 In America I am considered a slender woman, but in Asia I was ‘too big’. (Tall) To answer your question it really depends on the audience of women and in what way you wish to address them. It also matters if you are pointing out their height or heft. Other words we use are: full-figured big-boned Plus-sized (I think curvy is the gentlest term)

Hannah is right. “Curvy” is a good option. You could also use “larger girls” or “plus sized girls.” Neither are offensive.
