Si bien es correcto la palabra 'adonde', a mi punto de vista es preferible escribirla 'a donde' solo por seguir otras preposiciones + adverbio como 'por donde', ' hasta donde', 'en donde' y asi mismo 'a donde'.

Pero ambas son correctas.

In my personal opinion, I prefer to write 'a donde' only for following the others preposition + adverb like 'por donde', ' hasta donde', 'en donde' and the same way 'a donde'.

But both are correct.
