Hence, -고,-는, -기, -며, -았었다, -았다 are 어미. For example, 철수와 영수는 어깨동무를 하고 뛰놀곤 하였다. (Cheolsu and Yeongsu used to gambolled around with their arms around each other's shoulders.) 벼루하고 먹하고 가져 오너라. '와', '하고', '이며' are 접속조사(conjunction) in the above sentences. 보조사 adds special meaning to a word by being attached to 체언, adverb, 어미. For example, 철수는 좋은 아이다.(Cheolsu is a good boy.) 철수도 좋은 아이다.(Also Cheolsu is good boy.) 철수만 점심을 먹는다.(Only Cheolsu is having lunch.) '는', '도', '만' belong to 보조사. And there are also many 보조사 apart from '는', '도', '만'.

Grammar Terms in Korean for International Learners 1

Grammar is the ways words are placed in a sentence in order to make them understandable.
Here are some grammatical terms for international Korean learners. Some of them are paraphrased into English, for because there are terms they encompasses more than one term, and a term which one doesn't exist in English.

체언 consists of 명사(noun), 대명사(pronoun), 수사(number word).
명사(noun): 인간(human), 꿈(dream), 구름(cloud)
대명사(pronoun): 이것(this), 저것(that), 그것(that, or it)
수사(number word):하나(one), 둘(two), 셋(three)...,;일(one), 이(two), 삼(three), ...; 첫째(first), 둘째(second), 셋째(third), 넷째(fourth)...;제일(first), 제이(second), 제삼(third), ...

어간 refers to a part of a Korean verb or adjective that doesn't change when verbs and adjectives are changed for functional reason. it is conjugated.
The verbs 보다 and 꿈꾸다 can be changed when they are used in sentences for functional reason in grammar. will be used in these examples.
Bare The infinitive verb 보다 becomes 보고, 보는, 보며, 보았었다(봤었다), 보았다(봤다), etc.
As you see, 보- still keeps its form when it is changed so 보- is 어간 of bare verb 보다. 어미 refers to opposite of 어간. Hence, -고,-는, -기, -며, -았었다, -았다 are 어미.
Similarly, 꿈꾸다 becomes 꿈꾸는, 꿈꿨다(꿈꾸었다), 꿈꿨었다(꿈꾸었었다),
꿈꾸- is 어간. -는, -었다, -었었다 are 어미.

조사 is functional word that helps a sense of word or represents grammatical relevance between the word and other words in a sentence by being attached to 체언, adverb, or 어미.

조사 is sub-divided into 격조사, 접속조사, 보조사 largely.

In principle, 격조사 shows relevance between a one word and others words by being attached to a 체언(noun, pronoun, number word as aforementioned).
For reference, 격조사 is again sub-divided into 주격조사, 서술격조사, 목적격조사, 보격조사, 관형격조사, 부사격조사, 호격조사. But, let's leave discussing about them out since we are going to scan through the main terms on the as a whole.

접속조사(conjunction) functions as to juxtapose or connecting more than two words.
For example,
철수와 영수는 어깨동무를 하고 뛰놀곤 하였다.
(Cheolsu and Yeongsu used to gambolled around with their arms around each other's shoulders.)
벼루하고 먹하고 가져 오너라.
(Bring the ink-stone and the ink-stick.)
옷이며 신이며 죄다 흩어져 있었다.
(Clothes, shoes, everything were strewn on the floor.)
'와', '하고', '이며' are 접속조사(conjunctions) in the above sentences.

보조사 adds special meaning to a word by being attached to 체언, adverb, 어미.

For example,
철수는 좋은 아이다.(Cheolsu is a good boy.)
철수도 좋은 아이다.(Also Cheolsu is good boy.)
철수만 점심을 먹는다.(Only Cheolsu is having lunch.)
'는', '도', '만' belong to 보조사. And there are also many 보조사 apart from '는', '도', '만'.

This was a very nice lesson Amy, and I didn't really have to make many corrections.  There are a couple of things though that I want to point out:

"To conjugate" basically means 'to change verbs and adjectives for functional reason' but is much more succinct.

The "infinitive" form of a verb refers to the unconjugated version.  Base form would also have been acceptable, but to me at least, "bare" form sounds a bit strange.  It could just be my opinion though because it still makes sense the way you described it.

I only changed the first instances of these terms, but there were others that could be switched over.

One last note, you conjugated gambol for the past-tense in two ways, which is incorrect.  Only pick one or the other.  So, "used to gambol" or "gambolled".

If you have any questions about my notes, feel free to ask.  Thanks again!
