Is it better to have older or younger parents?

Parents are very important in all the stages of life. They are near you, taking care of you since you were only a child. But your family would be very different depending on the age of your parents, is it better to have young or old parents?

The obviously thing of this is that if you have younger parents you will be able to spend more time with them in life than if they were very old. In addition, having younger parents can be funnier (more fun) too. For example, you are more likely to have common interests and hobbies if you are close in age. You have a similar mind and it's easy that your parents can understand you.

On the other hand, older parents have advantages too. They have lived more experiences so they can give you better advices that can help you with your problems. They are settled down and you have a role model or people to look up to.

In my opinion, these points are only general reasons. If it is better to have younger or older parents depends on each person. The most important is getting on well with your parents because they can support you a lot.
