Language helps bring people together. Shared languages and standardization has helped advancements in education, technology, and more! However, does the standardization of language impact more rural areas? Regional dialects and native languages can start to slowly fade away as we become more globalized. If a language is dying, should we protect it or let it go? Do you think we'll start to see fewer and fewer common languages, or do you think we'll be able to share and speak more? Come and share your thoughts with the Community using #EndangeredLanguages. We'll select 10 random participants and send them $10 italki Credits!

What do you care about dying languages when you are Eliminating Persian from your website? All Iranians are being banned and their accounts will soon be deleted, I just want to know, does that have anything to do with Iran not being part of FATF organisation ?

If You are a person who really knows some endangered dialect or language I think that it's your duty for the next generations to do ANYTHING for preserving it. Yo really don't have to be a profesional teacher of it. sometimes even if you do some small thing it can be really important. Here on this website I saw many times a people who signed on their profiles that they know some rare or endangered language but they were really not interrested at all to do anything with it. Sad but true.
