What is the correct way of saying the years like 1900 1600 (with double zero at teh end) in English?
I was told that 1900 is possible to say like "nineteen thousand" is it true? Thanks!

The correct way is: Nineteen hundred and no you should not say nineteen thousand, as people will not understand you. 1600 = sixteen hundred.
