"bounce off ideas" 1) What does the sentence mean by "in the office, colleagues are always bouncing ideas off each other'? 2) I think it helps psychologically if you put on a pair of trousers and a work shirt, even if you are working at home. Having said that, it's easy to wake up and put on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. Does "Having said that" here mean even though I said that? Can you give me another example using the same sentence structure? Thanks

1. "Bouncing ideas" is brainstorming, suggesting different concepts, no matter how foolish or silly. 2. "Having said that" is a transitional phrase, like "however".

To "bounce ideas" off each other means to share or brainstorm their ideas with each other in an informal manner. Also they will give their feedback on the ideas both positive and negative. "I do quite like this hot weather we have been having in London recently. Having said that it is rather sweaty on the tube!"
