structure of 'whether' sentence Dear all, I am not sure whether or not my sentence with 'whether' is correct. In writing, where usually should put uncertain subjects? e.g. 1, People have different views about whether children should obtain information from their parents or a wide range of resources, like books or television programs 2, People have different views about whether different resources, such as books or television, or parents should provide children with information. or People have different views about who should provide children with information, parents or a wide range of resources..... which one you think is better and native?

The first one sounds the most natural to me. However I would change it very slightly, like this: 1. People have different views about whether children should obtain information from their parents, or FROM OTHER resources, like books or television programs. I hope this helps :-)

I agree with Ruthie, all your sentences are correct. You may want to consider breaking them down into smaller sentences for more clarity. Your English level is very high congratulations.

They are all fine,in my opinion. It just depends if you want to emphasize the children or the sources of information as the most important. But all are grammatically correct.
