Whats the equivalent of 'the hair of the dog' in spanish?

El pelo/pelaje del perro. pelaje / pelo = hair pelo is for people and sometimes for animals ; pelaje is only for animals

it's more correct say "PELAJE" , but nobody say that,,,habitualy we say "PELO"...i have dogs, and in it's passport, there is writing...: COLOR DEL PELO"

Your referring to the hangover cure yeah? (tomar una cerveza por la mañana para prevenir la resaca) I think you can say "(tomar) el pelo del perro que te mordió" But I think it's a more common saying in english. But why would an Irishman want to know how to say that anyway!?? Just joking us Australians are just as bad... possibly. ¡Suerte!

Yes, it's better to say "pelaje" for some animals
