What does "in touch with his feminine side" mean? When a female say she want a male "in touch with his feminine side", what does she mean?

It means that she wants him to be able to be sensitive and open and emotional, and not as men are stereotypically seen as being.

I agree with Hannah. But I can't help adding some thoughts about how people think about this, and consequently how it manifests in English (I don't know how it manifests in other languages). People tend to like very simple mental models (or theories) of reality. Men are stern and closed-off with their emotions. Women are loving and open with theirs. That's easy to understand, but it's a crude mental model. It can explain most observations, but not all. It can't explain men/women who either always or sometimes don't match the theory. Here's what I think is a better mental model (theory) of people. A kitchen doesn't have two sinks. One with a hot tap, and another with a cold tap. If that were the case then you'd only ever be able to wash up in cold, or hot, water. People are like sinks, they have both a hot and a cold tap that can be turned on or off, low or high, independently. The hot tap is love and compassion and bravery. The cold tap is fear and intolerance and cowardice. Those six qualities are very human qualities. We all have them, all six, in different measures just like a sinkful of water has X% of water from the hot tap and Y% from the cold tap (X or Y can be zero in rare, extreme cases). Someone's "feminine" side (whether that person is a man or a woman) is another way of saying "how much their hot tap is turned on." At least, if by "feminine side" you're ONLY talking about emotions. There are obviously many other aspects to being "feminine" that would require me to describe a new set of taps. And so on with every aspect of human personality that can be described with a duality.
