you mean, it will be better to have the choice to go to school... I think it is a necessity to impose some criteria like age to have a right education for all of us.

In US, compulsory education is for age 18 and under. For those who finished high school earlier than 18 are exempted.

In Australia all 16 year olds have to be in full time education or training until they achieve a qualification or turn 17.This includes young people enrolled in a Government, Catholic or Independent school.
