Judging from pics on this site, it is obvious that Russian girls are not nearly as ugly as American girls. They seem to have little need to try and look good.

When I was a teenager, facial piercing was really rare. Nowadays, some teenagers of both genders pierce their noses, eyebrows and even tongues. This is not very common in small cities, but quite popular among certain sub-cultural groups in large cities. I completely agree with Jura, this is sort of specific signs of belonging to some subculture.

What could I say more? You saw it by your own eyes.Be certain too, you won't see any significant difference in other parts of Russia .They don't have rings in the noses.haha..Might be seen some piercing now and then, but the case is pretty rare.You got sharp eyes of not ordinary observer and all what you said is true. P.S.However, and that is only between us, buddy..LOL, Russian girls no less demanding than American.That's why some times ago there was a big chase to get Russian wife by Germany.Thanks heaven not by now.The tendency have been ended abruptly.The Germans understood that Russian wives are expensive,materialistic and too demanding.So for the time being they prefer Malasian ones.LOL
