Hi!
My name is Carlos, I'm 31 years old and I'm from Coimbra.
I graduated in Management in the University of Coimbra. I'm currently working as a salesman, selling telecommunication's products.
I did volunteering work in hostels in London and Malaga. I did it because I love meeting people from other countries with different cultures. So volunteering in hostels was a great way to experience that.
In my free time I like reading, watching movies and series, stand-up comedy, cooking, eating what I cooked (that's the best part!), doing yoga, exercising, trekking in the mountains, swimming, spending time with friends and family. All simple things but that give me a lot of joy.عني كمعلّم
As a teacher I always try to make the process of learning fun and enjoyable to the students.
I customize the lessons depending on what are the goals that the students want to achieve. Because in the end, their goals become my goals.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I use methods that allows students to learn the language as natives do, using videos, audios and writing-form materials.
That way they learn the language as a whole and don't focus too much on specific parts like grammar or vocabulary. Unless that's their target goal, meaning improving grammar by instance. Carlos is great!
I really enjoy our conversations with him, he is very patient (waits forever until I finish a sentence), friendly and attentive. He gently points out all mistakes that I make, and is always willing to try new approaches and teaching styles. It's been just 2 lessons so far with him, and we've already discussed the typical cuisine of Portugal (millions of dishes made of bacalhau), Portuguese TV programs (O Preço Certo :D) and much more! I really enjoy his classes, as he is very easy-going and fun. Highly recommend.
