Hello! My name is Smrity. Nature, creativity and good food make my life meaningful. My hobbies and interests include travelling, painting, sewing, knitting, cooking, hiking, trekking and of course, teaching English.
I love meeting new people from different cultures. It makes me realise what a small but magnificently diverse world we live in. English has been my tool for leading an independent life and doing the things I love. My dream is to live an organic, simple life amidst nature where I can garden and entertain guests. I also co-own a soon-to-be-launched sustainable clothing line.عني كمعلّم
As a native speaker, I can help you think, see, smell, feel, and hear through the English language. Why choose me as your tutor? I am patient, passionate and always smiling. I’ll make sure you can make as many mistakes as you want and grow from them. Comfort and confidence are a must during my lessons. I would like the classroom to be a safe space where you can share and express your thoughts openly. I am intuitive to different people’s needs and customize lesson plans accordingly. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, there’s always room for improvement. :)

I believe in the power of conversing. It has built my students' confidence and ability to express themselves organically. I pay close attention to grammar, speech, pronunciation and tone during the lesson and provide constructive feedback towards the end. We either have structured or spontaneous conversations. Grammar rules are explained with patience and simplicity, thereafter my student and I make conversation to exercise them. Topics are chosen based on what my student's difficulties are. However, I pay additional attention to tenses and conditionals as they have a strong foundation in everyday speech. Online teacherI have been teaching on another teaching platform for 6 years. I began while still in university. It has been a long and fruitful experience - I have had long-term students of all ages from various backgrounds and colourful personalities. Great teacher. Very nice and open-minded. See was very patient and asked me a lot, so i could speak a lot. That was certainly not my last class. Thank you very much Smrity :-)

Smrity is an excellent teacher. She helped me improve my pronunciation in the lesson. Her explanation was clear and allowed me to understand how I could pronounce each word correctly. I also appreciate her patience, as she carefully listen to my pronunciation until I learned to master pronunciation.

Through her lessons I have learnt English that I can use in various kind of situations, having talked about from casual things to academic or philosophical discussions.
Further to this, what Ive found it great is that she provides me with weekly reviews including how to make my speech sound more natural as well as giving me quick reviews or advice in the lessons.
