Hi everyone! I'm Yurika. I'm from Nagasaki, Japan🇯🇵
I love traveling and living in other countries. I love meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. I've studied in the US when I was in my university, so I can speak in English as well. I studied American Military History in my university. Later I have worked as an international air freight forwarder for two years. I've been to USA, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, UK, Spain, Germany, Mexico etc. I'm currently learning Spanish. Let's have fun studying Japanese together!

I have experience teaching Japanese to my Mexican friend and I love it so mush, so I started italki. Since I've learned English, I know how hard it is to learn other language. With my experiences, I realized the best way to improve is to talk with native speaker and have fun with it. I would like to help you improve your Japanese whatever your level is.

I offer Japanese lesson and free talk lesson. I'm very relaxed and patient. In Japanese lesson, you can tell me what you would like to learn with me like grammar, conversation and anything. I can make a lesson based on your needs. Students with any levels can take this lessons. In free talk lesson, you can have conversation in Japanese with me. If you have some topics you want to talk about, please let me know, and if not, we can have free talk or I will give you a topic. See you in my lesson:)

Yamaguchi Sensei is the best Japanese teacher on italki! She's been teaching me Japanese for almost a year. I just got back from my first trip to Japan and was able to see the results of her teaching first hand. It made such a difference being able to communicate with locals while traveling the country! Now she is helping me prepare to write the JLPT N5 in December. Can't imagine learning Japanese without her! 本当にありがとうございます！！！

Learning a new language is exhausting, difficult, and easy to lose hope in. But I always come out of Yamaguchi-sensei's lessons feeling more inspired than when I entered. She's a wonderful teacher with a great sense of humor, and I am so grateful for how much she has taught me and how much better she makes me feel about my progress.

Super fun lesson! We talked about some challenging subjects but she did a great job patiently waiting and allowing me to fail before helping like a great teacher would. I highly recommend and hope you enjoy a lesson with her!

Yurika-sensei is an amazing teacher! I definitely recommend her to anyone learning Japanese at any level. She is fluent in English so when you get stumped on something in Japanese shes easily able to explain it so you’ll understand. She is very patient and so fun to talk to!!
