I’m from both the city 🌆 and suburbs 🏡 of New York 🗽. I began teaching English 📚 after moving to Saint Petersburg, Russia 🇷🇺, where I spent several years helping students, both in person 👥 and online 💻. Now, I work from home 🏠, guiding people 👫 around the world 🌍 to communicate 🗣 more effectively in English.
Beyond work, I pursue my passions ❤️. I enjoy doing voiceover work 🎙, acting in theater 🎭, and appearing in films 🎬. My hobbies include playing chess ♟, going for walks 🚶♂️, savoring good coffee ☕, and spending quality time with friends 👭 and family 👨👩👧👦.

I focus on a practical approach to teaching 📖 that uses real-life situations 🌍 and authentic materials 📚. This helps you improve communication skills 🗣 while also learning about interesting topics 🧠. I believe 🤔 that the classroom 🏫 is where active learning 🧠 happens. You might do some prep work 📖 before our lesson so we can make the most of our time together ⏳. Before class, you’ll get a first look 👀 at new language or a video 📺, which helps us jump right into using new language 🗣 and having fun 🎉!

I can't say enough good things about Michael! The classes were an amazing blend of fun and education.
