As a teacher, I strive to be adaptable and tailor my lessons to meet each student's needs. With over 10 years of experience, I'm well-versed in the challenges non-native speakers often face, and I work diligently to address these while ensuring that lessons remain informative and engaging. In each lesson, I use materials tailored to the lesson type. For instance, in a conversation lesson, I might use articles or images to stimulate discussion. For exam preparation, I may incorporate sample tests to enhance your familiarity and readiness. TEFL - i-to-i - 2012The TEFL certification qualifies me to teach students at all levels, from beginners starting their English journey to advanced learners refining their skills. This training equips me to support students in various contexts, whether they’re preparing for English proficiency exams or developing English skills. Additionally, the TEFL course emphasized the importance of lesson planning and cultural awareness, which are crucial components in delivering effective and inclusive instruction.

It is incredible how I feel more comfortable to express me and share knowledge with Siya. The class flies. Sometimes I propose one type of lesson/class and other she brings a rich material for we discuss. I can see my progress in each class. It's very important share cultural knowledge with her, because Syia lives in South Africa and me in Brazil, so have a lot of subjects in common and other extremely different and that's makes my class will be exciting.
