Hej,
my name is Himani and I'm a Swedish native speaker. I am also a passionate language learner myself and one year ago I came across the language learning method called "language parenting".
This method proved to be really effective for myself, so I decided to start teaching using this method as well.
When I don´t teach I also work as a professional opera singer.عني كمعلّم
I have been an online teacher for approximately five years.
I am a positive and encouraging person and nothing motivates me more than seeing my students improve.
I have seen my students go from not speaking Swedish at all to being able to have a conversation in the new language in as little as 6 months. It thrills and amazes me every time!
I always try to speak Swedish as much as possible and if the student doesn´t understand me I use body language and description. I only translate to another language if it´s necessary.
I am fluent in Swedish, English and German and I also speak some Hindi.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I use a methodology called "Language Parenting".
This is an effective and fun method that is easy to adjust for all different levels of speaking.
You can be an absolute beginner or have several years of experience learning the language.
In Language Parenting, we use pictures and describe what we see, then we ask each other yes- and no-questions and then increase to more complex questions.
When the student is more advanced I also use storytelling as a method.
When the student feel ready, we also practice conversation skills and talk about different subjects.
You will get homework at the end of every lesson, usually a video to watch and some questions belonging to the video to answer.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Jag tyckte verkligen om lektionerna med Himani och jag lärde mig mycket, både att tala och lyssna. Jag utökade mitt ordförråd, förbättrade mitt uttal och lärde mig mycket om den svenska kulturen idag och förr i tiden. Vi hade ofta roligt och vi lärde känna varandra bättre och bättre. Lektionen var helt fantastisk.
Det är en underbar metod att lära sig vilket språk som helst. Jag är fortfarande nybörjare i svenska, men jag lärde mig mycket på 30 minuter.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with Himani! Himani helped me find errors in my homework and provided feedback on my pronunciation. I loved her language parenting technique. It’s an approachable way to bolster your listening skills and learn new vocabulary. She also asks questions about the image, so you also get to practice speaking! I will definitely book again. :)
