Hi, I'm Veli! I was raised in Saudi Arabia by my Uzbek parents before I moved to Turkey as a teenager. As such I started my life fluent in Uzbek and Arabic, and by age 20 I could speak Turkish like a native without an accent. But the language I am most passionate about is actually English, and I am motivated to one day speak like an American, without any detectable accent.عني كمعلّم
While I have long been a student of English, I began my career as a teacher working with an American who wants to learn Turkish. I am equally qualified to teach Arabic or Uzbek.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
As a tutor, my goal is to make language learning fun for my students. To practice conversation, we can discuss the topics that the student is interested in, whether that is movies, video games, tv shows, careers, dreams, or anything else.5.0

I'm super pleased with Veli as a conversation partner and tutor in Turkish. He is very good at sensing when I'm having trouble and helping me find the right words, and he guides the conversation so that I never get bored or frustrated. Speaking a foreign language can feel like walking on a tightrope, but Veli put me at ease with his cheerful and patient demeanor. If you want a friendly conversation to improve your Turkish, talking with Veli is like talking with an old friend. Highly recommended, and I will continue to work with Veli on my language skills for a long time.
